Freecom Wireless develops a web-based Business Intelligence (BI) solution well suited for private enterprise and government agencies that require a shared resource to manage, profile, and track information relating to suppliers, clients, competitors and other such contacts in real-time. The base installation (fSLMS/fGIS) is a revolutionary contact management tool with a high degree of scalability and functionality. With the ability to be tailored for customer specific requirements, this product can meet the needs of virtually any organization. As the application is served by a web host, there is no software installation required on the client end and no need to patch individual machines across an organization in the case of future upgrades. fSLMS/fGIS allows each user on a corporate network to display point of contact information from a shared pool based on their individual query parameters while visually displaying the resulting geographic distribution via the integrated Geographic Information System (GIS) component. The application allows for comparisons, filtering, and sorting of the information with minimal effort. A contract management feature with automatic notifications is provided to allow critical documentation relating to each contact to be quickly and easily accessed. The fSLMS/fGIS module includes the following features: • Industry unique queuing scheme allows for team-based collaboration with points of contact • Intuitive user interface (UI) designed to make application efficient and highly operable without reference to a manual • Mapping, distance, bearing, and perimeter constraint of contacts; resolution of 3.7M+ known geographic co-ordinates with population data for approximately 50K communities • UI allows user to virtually tour the globe via satellite imagery, moving between points of contact in just seconds at the single click of a button • Intelligent data mining capabilities reduces data entry effort and validates information entered by user • Application uses enterprise-scale database technology (SQL Server) that can handle a very high number of contact entries and users while maintaining excellent query performance • Advanced architecture executes complex queries, comparisons, and calculations at the server with minimal CPU resources utilized on the client end • Supports optional integrated report application server (add-on feature, allows for printing labels, letter templates, etc) • Public web server interface enables users to geographically correlate website visitors with known points of contact in real-time, while intelligently clustering and optionally filtering out search engine crawlers, identifying suspected hackers & excessive site monitoring, compiling analytics, and performing detailed research of visitors on-demand. Log cache implemented to reduce network and processing overhead • Supports any NMEA compliant GPS receiver, allowing for provision of exact co-ordinates to application when users are off premises • UI coded to require minimal network bandwidth, no significant performance degradation in most cases when accessed by low speed remote/mobile users. Application level governor maintains server performance by enabling query sanctioning on a per-user basis • UI/GIS components viewable in either single compact display or independently where multiple displays and/or projector is available • Application can be easily deployed via secure http for access by remote users over Internet (using SSL 128-bit encryption) • Preconfigured GIS engine can be customized to support WMS base maps and vector data overlays from alternate sources as desired • Proprietary search, sorting, and scoring algorithms of results. Algorithms may be customized at an additional cost • No concurrent user count restriction; capacity is only limited by the number of users on your network fSLMS/fGIS has been developed, tested and refined for several years by Freecom Communication Systems Inc. As we retain intellectual property rights, there is a high degree of flexibility with the design in the case that customization is required at a later date. Both the user interface and back end can be modified by us at an additional cost for cases where a customer may need to add features or make modifications specific to their business, industry, or network configuration. Commercial Licensing Terms: • $CALL for single server license pricing of fSLMS/fGIS module, 1 year maintenance included • SAP report designer & integrated report application server available at additional cost • GPS receivers available from us at minimal additional cost • Freecom Communication Systems Inc. can also provide preloaded server with fSLMS/fGIS application if required at additional cost • Customization and services such as importation of existing business data from other sources (eg. MRP system, MS Access, spreadsheets, logfiles, etc.), modification to profiling algorithms can be quoted to exisiting customers • Additional tightly integrated components provide real-time component library, bill of materials, and defect management in addition to employee time tracking and RFID based asset/inventory tracking (under development, planned set for release in near future. An alpha version of some modules is available to existing customers of the base installation) Software and Hardware Requirements: • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 O/S, running IIS 6.0 and SQL Server 2005 • Application benchmarked on server with 2.6 GHz P4 CPU / 1.5 GB RAM and 15K RPM SCSI hard drive. Recommend client machines running Microsoft Windows XP with IE7 browser
